News!!

Something huge happened today! I got my permanet host-family!!! It sounds and look amazing!! There is a host-mum who´s 36 and a host-dad who´s 39 and they have three daughers and they like really cute!! Two of them are 12 and one is 7 and then it´s me who´s 16 and a dog! I saw a video on my host-mums facebook page were the girls were doing gymnastics (all three of them are competing in gymnastics!) and they were really great! So I really looking forward to get to the family and meet them :D

I also tried softball todayand it was really fun!! but kind of hard with all the rules so it took a while befoure you knew what you were doing...haha but I got two "home" run around the hold field without being "out" it was not homeruns but it still something! And I was also playing vollyball but it wasn´t really fun becuse we were to many pepols playing it was like 20 people on each side so everybody was expecting someone else to get the ball so you tuched the ball like 5 times in 1,5 hour! :( but at least I tried something new.

Tomorrow we will have a vollyboll turnament and I´m going to be a cheerleader! :D everyone was like woow when I was doing a cartweel backhand spring (hjula-spagat flickis) so me and another girl who can do a handspring are going to "open" the game for our team! GO FRANKLIN THUNDER!! :D haha...

Hej!
Jag undrar hur du bestämde dig för att åka med EF? Vad avgjorde saken för dig?
Jag ska nämligen åka nästa år och är just nu i steget med att välja organisation och det är såå himla svårt!

Svar: Hej Kajsa! Gud va kul att du också ska ge dig iväg och att du vill "följa min" Jag valde EF mest för att jag tyckte att deras hemsida såg proffsig ut och att det var lätt att hitta information och kontakta dom :) Men jag tror inte att det är så stor skillnad mellan de olika organisationerna jag tror att oavsätt vilken organistion du väljer så kommer du få det toppen bra. En skillnad som jag vet är att EF är EF hela vägen och har inga partorganisationer som om du tillexempel åker med explorius eller sts... etc... så har dom andra namn på organisationerna i usa som t.ex. Asse etc... Jag tycker att det är lättare att ha samma hela vägen! Sen erbjuder EF att man får åka på discovery tours (det kostar extra) då man kan åka till tillexempel LA och Grand-cannyon, East cost, Carlifonia cost, Florida etc.. då är man som på semester med andra EF studenter från olika länder och aa. Det viktigaste är att du läser på hemsidorna, kanske kontaktar dom om du har frågor etc... och välj den som känns bäst för dig!

Yay!! You got your permanent family!! I told you it would happen before you got there! Are you soooo excited? They sound like a great family to be placed with for your stay. :)

Svar: Yes I´ll think the family will get to the family today :D so i´m super excited!! :D
